Nestled along the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains is the community of La Victoria in the San Martin region of Northern Peru. For generations this community has been cultivating coffee among the other fruits and vegetables they grow. In 2020 a local producers co-op Asociación de Productores Cerro Blanco (named after the white sand mountain that surrounds the area) was formed with the goal to implement sustainable practices and increase quality.
