In 2020 a local producers co-op \u003cspan\u003eAsociación de Productores Cerro Blanco\u003c\/span\u003e (named after the white sand mountain that surrounds the area) was formed\u003cspan\u003e with the goal to implement sustainable practices and increase quality.
